Come to Italy
with MORETTI WINE CO.
An Intimate Exploration of
Veneto & Emilia-Romagna
June 9 – 16, 2019
About the Trip:
Join me, Jeni Moretti, on another one of my “off-the-beaten-path” tours, this one to the Veneto and Emilia-Romagna.
Let me show you the charm and beauty of Verona and Bologna – two Renaissance cities that will awe you with their architecture, renowned culinary traditions and products.
No, it is not all about Romeo and Juliet, there is so much more. Like the wines! We will have lunch in the vineyards of our own Prosecco producer, taste famous Soave and Amarone wines from historic cellars and get an education on grappa. We will stroll the quaint streets of Sirmione on stunning Lake Garda (Alps in the background…Instagram perfect!)
I will show you my favorite wine bars and restaurants, wine cellars and piazzas, views and buildings. Learn how to make some of the most famous dishes from the area like tortellini from a local chef.
•Personalized visits to some renowned wineries and taste Soave, Valpolicella, Amarone, Prosecco, and more.
•Visit a Grappa museum in the picturesque town of Bassano del Grappa and taste from one of Italy’s best-loved grappa producers.
•Taste Emilia-Romagna’s world famous gourmet products directly from the best producers – Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma and Balsamic Vinegar.
•Walking tours of Verona and Bologna – taking in the history, architecture and beauty of these stunning Renaissance cities.
•Visit the breathtaking Lake Garda and walk the quaint streets of Sirmione.
•Savor the rich food traditions of Bologna home to delicious pastas like tortellini and the famous Bolognese Ragu’.

Hi, I am Jeni Moretti. My husband, Antonio and I own Taste of Santa Rita Hills and Moretti Wine Co. You may know that I have lead many wine and food tours to Italy, as well as planned many people’s personal trips to my husband’s home country. My heritage is Swedish, but most of my adult life has been immersed in all things Italian. After studying Italian wines for the last 27 years, I happily accept that it is one my greatest passions that will never end. I loved my 20 years working in Italian wine importing, and leading wine and food tours of Italy for the last 15 years. I am one of the lucky few to have been to 19 of the 20 regions of my adopted country. Having said that, I could keep going back until the day I die and still have not explored all I want to see there.
I have learned a little bit…and I mean that humbly. Italy never ceases to amaze me in all that it has to offer and in its diversity. I hope you can join me on this journey and let me share my passion for Italy with you.
