Antonio and Jeni Moretti are the creators and owners of Moretti Wine Co. and The Taste of Sta. Rita Hills. Together they have over 50 years of experience in the wine business. Though from different parts of the world, they found themselves drawn to Santa Barbara County, for its unique terroir and potential for creating world class wines. With their extensive wine and food experience, Antonio and Jeni love to educate visitors on the terroir of the area and enhance their wine appreciation through food pairing. They believe that wine by itself is good, but the right wine served with the right food is transcendent.
Thus the Moretti wines are produced in a notably “Old World,” food-friendly style. Their production is very small, so the Moretti wines can only be found at their tasting room, at a select few restaurants in the Santa Ynez Valley, or here on-line. A visit to their tasting room will most likely be complemented by imported cheeses and local salami, and an experience for the mind, heart, and palate.
